This device combines the functionality of a spectral comparator with the precision of a high-resolution scanner, providing a powerful solution for detailed examination of security documents. It allows scanning of documents in various formats up to A4 size and is particularly suitable for organisations that require highly reliable equipment for determining the authenticity of passports, identity documents, certificates, banknotes, visas and other security printed materials.
The scanner captures images under multiple light sources and spectral ranges, including visible white light, ultraviolet light and infrared light. This advanced inspection capability enables users to reveal hidden security features, identify document alterations and perform detailed forensic analysis of protected documents. With a maximum optical resolution of up to 2400 dpi, the device provides exceptionally detailed image capture suitable for both routine verification and expert examination.
The SP 2400 is practical, intuitive and easy to operate. It is supplied with the Scanmetrics software package, which enables users to document inspection results, archive verification records and perform detailed analysis of both small and large image areas. The software significantly enhances the efficiency of document examination and supports professional reporting and evidence management.
The device supports inspection under white light, UV-A light at 365 nm, infrared light at 850 nm, transmitted white light and transmitted infrared light, allowing comprehensive examination of modern security printing technologies.
